On Sundays

Dear friends, Jesus reminds us how to observe Sundays through a fundamental question: Is it better to do good or to do harm? The Mosaic Law commands us to keep the Sabbath holy, but the Pharisees and scribes often misinterpreted this as doing nothing—an attitude that can lead to the sin of omission. For Jesus, Sundays are an opportunity to celebrate life by spending quality time with family, attending Mass together, taking care of our homes through repairs or maintenance, visiting the sick, or even enjoying simple acts of self-care. Let us embrace Sundays as a day to nurture faith, relationships, and acts of kindness.
